Garden Patch Project

The Garden Patch Project is designed to cultivate the growing effort in our community to uplevel the food we eat. We organize monthly “How to” events relative to regenerating the soil, gardening, harvesting, distributing and preserving the produce. We are also creating a method of communication for those who need support with any step of the process to be able to reach out for assistance. It is a way to unite beginners with those more experienced and share the knowledge. Answering questions and calls for help: What works? What doesn’t work? How do we get started with our own garden? Where can I get help, I have so much to do that I am overwhelmed.

This is a call to join the efforts already being made by individuals and groups who have a vision to create a vital local food supply in such a way that it will continue to thrive. We want to weave the web so we are supporting each other and helping ensure we have healthy locally grown produce. This consists of mapping the gardens, the fruit trees, the berry bushes and more, as well as helping to maximize our efforts and make it a fun community gathering as often as possible. Many hands creating with love and joy and making it fun.

The Garden Patch Project is a community effort that continues to grow in vision and effect.
